Breathtaking Event with Halsey Herreshoff aboard his SV Rugosa meeting Donna Lange upon her completion of a solo circumnavigation with only one stop... going through the Panama Canal. After 240 days alone solo from RI, near to Cape Horn, where she then diverted to the Panama Canal, arriving in Islas Flamenco on March 27th. It was a challenge to transit the canal as IS did not have an engine but after 30 days including reparations to IS... she headed out of Colon, Panama on April 27, landing in Bristol RI on May 27.
